About us
the President & CEO Issho-Kenmei(Utmost Diligence)

My name is Yasuhiro Hiraoka, President and CEO of Hiraoka Sangyo Co., Ltd. and the E&H Precision Group.
Our company’s roots trace back to 1774, when our ancestor, Jizaemon Hiraoka, enshrined a sacred spirit from
Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, praying for the prosperity of our family business and the peace of the local
community. Later, in 1907, my great-grandfather, Seizaburo Hiraoka, founded Hiraoka Textile, launching
modern production of futon fabric—Ome bedding textiles—in collaboration with Toyota Industries
Corporation.
Thanks to the wholehearted dedication of our founder and employees, we overcame the hardships of the Greater
East Asia War and numerous economic crises, laying the foundation for today’s company. In 1972, recognizing
the structural decline in the textile industry, we changed our name to Hiraoka Sangyo Co., Ltd. and shifted
our focus to metal cutting and machining using automatic lathes. As a late entrant to the metal processing
industry, we started small, and the early days were filled with challenges.
In 1995, amid these circumstances, we made a decisive move to revitalize the business by forming a joint venture with Eto Co., Ltd., a trading company specializing in metal components. Together, we established E&H Precision (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in the Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate in the Kingdom of Thailand as a precision metal cutting company. Later, in 2010, we established E&H Precision India Pvt. Ltd. in the Neemrana Industrial Area, Rajasthan, Republic of India. In both cases, we were the first Japanese automatic lathe processing company to enter these markets, paving the way as a pioneer.
With the generous support of Thailand and India, we have been fortunate to benefit from both countries’ economic growth. As a result, the E&H brand has earned widespread trust for our QCDS—Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service—and we have solidified our position as a leading Japanese automatic lathe machining company in Asia. Our gratitude toward Thailand and India is deep and enduring.
In 2008, we suspended domestic manufacturing in Japan and consolidated all production operations in Thailand and India. Then, in 2021, we made E&H a wholly owned subsidiary. Since then, we have promoted localization and local workforce development under the concept of becoming a Wakyo precision machining company—referring to Japanese entrepreneurs and professionals who establish businesses overseas while embracing local cultures.
Guided by our slogan “Issho-Kenmei” (wholehearted dedication), we strive to instill our core philosophy
throughout the company, foster a family-like atmosphere, cultivate positive habits, and create an uplifting
workplace culture. Our ultimate goals are to become a company truly needed by our customers, to maintain
appropriate profitability for sustainability, and to contribute to local communities through the growth of
our employees.
With a vision to become the world’s leading automatic lathe machining company, we continue to take on new
challenges in advanced machining fields. Our aim is to secure a prominent place in the global precision
machining industry and become an indispensable partner to clients across many sectors.
The 21st century is the era of Emerging Asia. As a Wakyo machining company, we are deeply rooted in this
dynamic region, taking on new challenges with sincerity and resolve. Looking ahead, we will continue to
pursue growth opportunities—committed to contributing meaningfully to the development of both Asia and our
home country, Japan, through business innovation and the growth of our people.
We sincerely appreciate your continued guidance and support.
Thank you very much.

Value Value

Standards of Thought
The idea of personal responsibility and
a sense of contribution.
When a problem occurs, blaming it on others doesn’t solve anything. Better team work is achieved not by blaming others but by considering what you personally can do. In addition, it's important that we think and behave from the perspective of “the company is a family that everyone should work to protect, so we shall ask not what the company can do for me but rather what I can do for the company.”

Code of Conduct
Speed and thoroughness
Speed means prompt action. We shall endeavor to take action promptly on initiatives and issue, and to determine concrete dates for items that cannot be acted on immediately and enter them into our plans. We shall promptly produce output without being too focused on perfection and strive to increase precision from there. Thoroughness means carrying through until completion. We shall continuously endeavor to achieve our plans even when confronted by difficulties by engrossing ourselves in our task and involving related personnel. At the same time, we shall appropriately ascertain the feasibility and effectiveness of our plans, reexamine them as necessary, and continue to take actions that produce results.
