Clamping the hexagonal material with diagonal corners would not make positional accuracy of boring inner diameter since material surface itself is not sufficient to hold accurately.
Machining diagonal corners surfaces BEFORE clamping for boring would have higher accuracy for clamping position which could achieve better positional accuracy.
