Since its establishment, E&H Thailand has been deeply involved in various CSR activities over many years. As a Japanese company with strong roots in the region, we support elementary schools, donate to orphanages and temples, engage in mangrove tree planting, organize beach clean-up activities, and more.
Similarly, E&H India has been dedicated to supporting local communities through various initiatives. These include donations to the local Japanese school and NGOs, providing medical equipment to regional hospitals, offering health check-ups in rural areas, and contributing to infrastructure development — all with the goal of fostering community development and improving the well-being of the local population.

In 1995, we established our Thailand branch, followed by the opening of our India branch in 2010, expanding our production activities in emerging markets early on. Through continuous education and training for local technicians, we have contributed to the enhancement of technical skills and the development of regional industries.

[Philosophy Education]
Our company embraces a philosophy-driven management approach and strives to instill these core values among our employees in both Thailand and India. In partnership with an organizational transformation consulting firm, we conduct a Philosophy Education program. We have also introduced leadership training initiatives, such as the Leadership Journey, to foster an environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can strengthen their personal capabilities and grow together.
[Skill Development]
In our manufacturing division, we collaborate with the government's Labor Development Bureau to establish machining technology standards. By defining skill levels and implementing certification exams, we systematically assess and guide the advancement of technical abilities, setting clear growth indicators. Additionally, skilled Japanese technicians—experts in various machining fields—provide hands-on training and share practical know-how, supporting the continual skill development of our local workforce.

[Annual Business Plan Presentation]
We hold an annual business plan presentation to share our management policies and key objectives. This event fosters a shared understanding of the company’s direction across the entire organization.
[Digital Transformation (DX)]
This year marks the launch of our company-wide digital transformation initiative. We are streamlining operations through:
・Core system upgrades in administrative departments
・Implementation of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system in sales
・IoT-based data collection in manufacturing
In addition, we have developed in-house data entry applications to reduce manual work, enabling employees to focus on more value-added tasks.

[Promotion of Women]
At E&H Thailand, 70% of all employees are women. Furthermore, women also account for 70% of managerial and higher-level positions. This promotes workplace diversity and fosters an environment where a wide range of perspectives and ideas can thrive.

At E&H Thailand, we have created a green space called the E&H ECO PARK on unused land within our premises. Through tree-planting activities, we are promoting on-site greening while also aiming to raise environmental awareness among our employees.

We have implemented an internal whistleblowing system that allows employees to anonymously report misconduct or illegal activities. This system helps ensure transparency and fairness within the organization. By promoting ethical behavior, it fosters a safe and secure work environment for all employees.

After processing parts, we separate scrap materials from cutting oils. The scrap materials are sold to minimize industrial waste generation. Additionally, the cutting oils are recycled and reused, promoting resource efficiency and helping to reduce our environmental impact.
Carbon neutral initiatives

In addition to small initiatives, such as turning off lights during breaks and stopping air conditioning during low usage times, we also implement improvements through technical solutions unique to the manufacturing industry.
For example, to address air leaks in equipment, we developed and built a low-cost, easy-to-use air leak detector, which is used for daily inspections and continuous improvements.

Becoming a Company Loved Globally
for the Long Term -

By collaborating with our customers to achieve carbon neutrality, we leverage each other’s strengths and swiftly implement effective solutions.
We ensure that the products we manufacture are safely used by our customers, and that, at the end of their lifecycle, they do not harm the environment. We are actively working on managing product chemicals, obtaining environmental management system certifications, and ensuring compliance with various regulations.
Furthermore, regarding the energy used in the production process, we are promoting energy-saving initiatives and the adoption of renewable energy, with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality in the future.

Cybersecurity initiatives

As we promote DX (Digital Transformation), we recognize that strengthening information security is essential. Based on the three fundamental principles of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability, we are committed to implementing comprehensive information security measures.

Safe and Secure
Information Security Environment

Our key initiatives include the introduction of multi-factor authentication for system logins to prevent unauthorized access, as well as the management of access records to secure areas to enhance physical security. In addition, we have established multiple communication lines to ensure continuity during emergencies. Employees undergo annual security training, and periodic reminders are provided to maintain awareness.
Furthermore, we have strengthened network monitoring to detect and respond to suspicious access promptly. We also require our business partners to conduct annual self-audits, contributing to the overall security enhancement of the supply chain. Additionally, we utilize cloud-based data backups and have implemented BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures to prepare for disasters and cyberattacks.
Through these efforts, we continue to build an environment where both employees and business partners can perform their work with peace of mind. Moving forward, we will continue to improve information security by leveraging both our internal research and the latest security information from our clients and partner companies.

Internal activities

Standardization activities

We standardize all types of tasks and operations by defining the best practices of the company's top employees as the standard. These practices are documented to ensure that everyone can perform tasks consistently. By utilizing this standard, we conduct employee training, leading to improvements in quality, productivity, cost reduction, and safety.

Kankyo-Seibi
(Environmental maintenance)

All employees dedicate 10 minutes at the start and end of each workday to engage in cleaning activities. By approaching simple, straightforward tasks with such passion and dedication that no one can do them better, we maintain a spotless workplace. This practice cultivates good habits and a positive environment, which contributes to our awareness reform and growth.

Greeting employees in the morning

We greet employees at the main gate each morning as they arrive for work. This daily interaction reflects our family-oriented management philosophy, grounded in the belief that "employees are like family."

Birthday party

Once a month, we hold a birthday celebration for employees with birthdays that month. We sing birthday songs, enjoy cake together, and present gifts. A Q&A session with the president is also held, fostering open communication and connection.

Area reserved for pregnant employees

In response to the requests of pregnant employees who wish to continue working until just before childbirth, we are committed to creating a safe and secure work environment for them. Because working on the production floor can pose risks for expectant mothers, we have established a dedicated area in the office where they can perform parts inspection work.
