Impressive Production Scale
A production system designed to
maximize economies of scale.

Among the largest machining equipment fleets in Asia

Our group operates 1,000 CNC/CAM lathes and 300 secondary processing machines, including grinders and thread rolling machines. This extensive range of equipment allows us to select the most appropriate machinery based on the shape and material of each product, ensuring the stable production of high-precision parts.

Additionally, we utilize multi-tasking lathes with oscillating cutting functions, which aid in chip breaking during machining. This capability enables high productivity and consistent quality, even when working with challenging materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and heat-resistant alloys, which are prone to chip-related issues.

E&H Thailand boasts a monthly production volume of 30 million units, while E&H India produces 10 million units, showcasing our impressive production capacity. We effectively control QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) to maintain smooth production and timely delivery. Whether for small or large lot sizes, we offer flexible solutions to meet a wide variety of customer needs.

E&H’s technical capabilities

By combining cutting-edge equipment, advanced machining technologies, and the expertise of skilled technicians, we are able to process difficult-to-machine materials and complex geometries with precision.

In the automotive sector, we produce machined parts requiring extremely high precision and quality, achieving sub-micron accuracy and surpassing the 1/1000 mm tolerance range. In the secondary processing field, we utilize high-performance grinding machines to attain roundness below 0.3 microns and surface roughness below Rz 0.6. We also have extensive experience in mass-producing valve cores with stepped shapes that require an outer diameter tolerance of just 8 microns.

In recent years, we have placed a stronger focus on in-house training, aiming to quantify the traditionally intuitive skills of craftsmen. While incorporating modern technologies, we are also advancing the inheritance and refinement of techniques passed down through generations. We remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering technical excellence and quality that consistently exceed our customers' expectations.

E&H’s quality capabilities

Guided by our core policy of “Quality First, Customer First,” we view quality not only as a standard for our products, but also as a reflection of our company's dignity and the excellence of every employee’s work. This mindset is deeply embedded in our daily operations. We are equipped with the latest measurement instruments and certified under internationally recognized quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. These systems support our structured, company-wide initiatives to continuously enhance quality.

One of our key strengths is the ability to respond swiftly by working directly with customers across Japan, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Our collaborations with leading companies in the automotive, motorcycle, home appliance, and toy industries have provided us with a deep understanding of each sector’s quality expectations. By grasping the core values that more than 100 global clients place on quality, we conduct quality management with a truly international perspective. We remain committed to our “Quality First, Customer First” philosophy—delivering the best possible products and services. From daily improvements to major company-wide efforts, we will continue to advance quality enhancement sincerely, steadily, and diligently.

In-house production of
cutting tools

We have established a dedicated in-house R&D facility for tooling, fully equipped with a range of tool grinders and precision inspection instruments. By considering the characteristics of the work material and machining conditions, we independently design and manufacture custom tools tailored to specific requirements. This in-house capability not only reduces costs but also enables rapid prototyping and swift proposals of tool geometries aligned with customer designs.

By developing application-specific tools—unavailable on the commercial market—we achieve significant reductions in machining cycle times. Once produced, these tools are immediately tested on the shop floor, allowing real-time data collection for evaluation, refinement, and optimization. This streamlined process eliminates delays typically associated with coordination with external suppliers, enabling faster, more agile tool improvement. In addition, we have implemented a system for simultaneous evaluation of both tool geometry and cutting parameters, allowing us to accumulate proprietary know-how. We also conduct regular study sessions within the R&D facility to deepen knowledge in tooling and machining technologies. Through these efforts, we actively nurture in-house talent capable of driving innovation in internal tool development.

Seamless support from planning and development through mass production

We offer seamless, end-to-end support—from planning and development to process design, prototyping, and mass production—through what we call a local completion approach. From the earliest stages of product planning, we assist with the design of cost-effective, low-risk machined parts, always with mass production in mind.
By understanding customer requirements in detail, we provide VA/VE proposals that reduce costs through optimized part geometries and efficient manufacturing methods. Early involvement allows us to grasp key aspects such as part usage and function, helping establish a production process that eliminates waste and maximizes value for both the customer and our company.

Following design, we proceed to prototyping and process design using the latest equipment and technologies. This smooth transition into mass production ensures consistent quality, cost efficiency, and reliable delivery.

History and personnel of overseas bases

Our company was an early mover in overseas expansion, establishing production bases in Thailand in 1995 and in India in 2010. With nearly 30 years of experience in Thailand and 15 years in India, we have cultivated deep local expertise and earned lasting trust from our customers.

At the time of our entry, few competitors had ventured into these markets. By moving early, we secured the advantages of first-mover positioning. In particular, our reputation in Thailand has grown so strong that E&H has become virtually synonymous with automatic lathe machining among many local customers.

Establishing local operations at an early stage has also allowed us to focus on the steady development of local talent. Today, our skilled national staff are an indispensable driving force behind our continued growth and success.

Digital transformation strategy

In our manufacturing division, we have implemented IoT technology to visualize the real-time operational status of our CNC automatic lathes, enabling improved equipment utilization and reduced downtime. Additionally, we are leveraging AI-powered data analysis for applications such as anomaly detection in sales orders and optimization of production planning.

As part of our initial steps toward digital transformation (DX), we have developed a proprietary data entry application to digitize business information that was previously managed on paper. This reduces labor costs by eliminating duplicate input work, improves the convenience of approval work, and contributes to increased productivity by reducing downtime through the use of digitized data. The system is used for managing inspection records, machine repair requests, and process change applications, contributing to more efficient day-to-day operations.

In our office operations, we are automating routine tasks using Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This includes tasks such as data transfer between systems, extraction and aggregation of information, and the generation of periodic reports. These efforts reduce labor costs, minimize human error, and allow our staff to focus on higher-value work.

Worldwide sales

Our sales representatives have actively expanded our global reach, opening direct sales channels in countries including the United States, Germany, Turkey, and Brazil. Today, we proudly serve customers in 15 countries worldwide. Drawing on the extensive experience gained through our early international expansion, local staff at each site manage orders and logistics to ensure accurate, timely delivery.
In terms of transportation, we take a proactive role in selecting freight forwarders and designing optimal logistics routes. This approach allows us to build a flexible, efficient delivery system tailored to the specific needs of our customers.
