Q1. Business activities
I am the Supervisor of the Global Engineering Department. I am responsible for process design of products for our factories in Thailand and India. In addition, I follow up to ensure that production at the Thailand factory proceeds according to design, and I also provide technical advice to the India factory.
Design of the machining process
“My work begins with reviewing the customer’s drawings and understanding the product and each customer’s specifications. I then consider all relevant factors to select the appropriate material size and create a production design that meets the required quality standards.
I also design the machining processes and work closely with the Sales Department to ensure that, as the Global Engineering Team, we can respond quickly, accurately, and thoroughly.
Evaluation of production feasibility for new projects and existing products
I am responsible for overall management to confirm the production feasibility in coordination with related departments based on IATF standards. In particular, when it comes to quoting new parts, I consider all relevant factors. Specifically, I check whether the product quality meets customer specifications, whether the production process satisfies customer standards, and whether the delivery schedule can be met.
This work involves not only new parts at the quotation stage, but also cases where process changes are needed for parts already in mass production. I am responsible for evaluating whether such changes are feasible.
Support and follow-up for prototyping
Before or during the execution of projects from domestic and international clients, I primarily engage in technical discussions with the customer. Specifically, I review all parameters of the customer’s drawings, and if there are any questions or items that cannot be addressed, I discuss them with the customer at this stage. If necessary, I request changes or confirm that the production process aligns with the customer’s requirements. Additionally, I share the details of the discussions with the engineering team and move forward with the prototyping process in line with the customer’s requirements.
I engage in technical discussions with suppliers for processes such as heat treatment and surface treatment. I share the customer’s specifications and requirements with the suppliers, and if there are any change requests from the suppliers, I compile the details into a report and submit it to the customer for review.
I create a planning sheet that includes details such as the rotation speed, feed rate, machining time, and tool path for each tool. This sheet is shared with the engineering team to proceed with prototyping preparation. Additionally, if there are any changes that could affect the product quality for the customer, I summarize the details and report them to the customer for review and consideration.
When special tools are required, I am responsible for communication and coordination with suppliers. I handle the confirmation of technical specifications, order arrangements, and progress management, ensuring responsibility until the tools are delivered.

Q2. What I love about E&H!
What impressed me most when I first started at this workplace was the ‘kindness’ of the people. Even though we didn’t know each other yet, everyone greeted me with warm smiles, and I felt that this is a place filled with friendship.
Since becoming a member of the team, I have experienced an environment that values ‘freedom of thought’ and ‘imagination.’ No matter how new an idea or different a perspective may be, it is accepted without being dismissed. Creativity is cherished, and my ideas are always supported. Even though I tend to get bored easily, here I am always able to challenge myself with new things, and I have never felt bored.
What warms my heart the most is that no matter the difficulty, I am never left to face it alone. I am always supported and encouraged by those around me. Regardless of the outcome, thanks to everyone’s support, I feel as though I am cherished as the ‘youngest member of the team.’
“The words of encouragement I receive from my seniors give me positive energy. For example,
‘It’s okay. Without failure, there is no growth. If you learn from your mistakes, you won’t repeat the same ones.’
‘As long as you love your work, that’s all that matters.’
Thanks to this warm atmosphere, I have grown every day and developed a desire to do valuable work for the team and the organization.”
Not only at work, but the presence of my boss, who always ensures I get home safely after a drinking session, also provides me with a great sense of reassurance.
